Relaxing. [...] I can say that it met in full my tastes and my needs, including the economic ones [...] In addition to Caorle, I also recommend a visit to Venice, Aquileia and Grado: the camping location makes all these destinations easily in same-day reachable.

Venice, a dream of a city
Venice is a city that needs no introduction. Unique in the world, it is entirely built on the water in the middle of the Venetian lagoon. The historic center of Venice is located in the middle of the lagoon among 118 small islands separated by canals and connected by bridges, which consolidated over the centuries thanks to the wooden pilings, which allowed the urbanization.
Among the monuments and the most famous buildings, we can mention St. Mark's Square with its Basilica; Palazzo Ducale, the Rialto Bridge; the Scalzi Bridge, as well as all the calli, campi, and campielli, museums and various islands that make up all the Lagoon area.
It’s a visit you cannot miss during your stay at the Altanea Green Camping.
All the ways to get to Venice
From the campsite, we recommend to use the service Quickly Easy Venice offered by ATVO and ACTV. This solution offers the convenience of departing from the entrance of our campsite and then, navigating between beautiful islands such as Murano, Torcello and Le Vignole, reaching directly St. Mark’s Square! Even the price is extremely interesting! Only 23 € per person (round-trip ticket), by reservation at least 1 day in advance.
If you prefer to go directly by sea, the boat Caorle provides a daily transportation service with departures from the port of Caorle at 8:00 a.m. and return at 6:00 p.m. (departure from Venice at 4.00 p.m.). The price changes depending on the period but, approximately, is around € 35 per person. If you like this idea of admiring all the Venetian coast from the sea and choose this option we can arrange for you the transportation to and from the port at extremely affordable prices.
Alterantively, If you do not want to give up your car, we entered into an agreement with the Fusina Terminal that will allow you to park only 5 € per day (compared to the price of € 30 normally needed elsewhere). From there you can take the ferry (7 € per person valid for 60 minutes ) to reach the city. Another cheap option is to park near the San Giuliano park and then take the bus to reach Piazzale Roma from where you can choose to walk or take the ferry boat towards Rialto/San Marco Square.
